Whitening/Bleaching
The best way to whiten your teeth is with take-home trays that are worn on your schedule when it suits you best. Based on our experience, the best results come from wearing the trays overnight. We have different concentrations of bleach strength to suit the individual patient's needs.
We are also happy to do in-office bleaching as instant gratification for events such as weddings or reunions. This service is always well-received - our patients are consistently pleased with the results. We want all of our patients to have healthy white teeth!
Deep Scaling/Periodontal Therapy
For some folks who haven't had a cleaning in years, a simple 20 minute scaling just won't do. These patients need extra time, effort, and yes, anesthetic for a thorough cleaning to return to healthy tissues. We offer these dental care services as individually needed. Thorough charting and follow-ups are required.
Invisalign
Invisalign® takes a modern approach to straightening teeth, using a custom-made series of aligners created for you and only you. These aligner trays are made of smooth, comfortable and virtually invisible plastic that you wear over your teeth. Wearing the aligners will gradually and gently shift your teeth into place, based on the exact movements your dentist plans out for you.
Aphthous Ulcer Treatment (Canker Sores)
Canker sores are painful and often recur in patients susceptible to them. They are dreaded ulcers of the gums because of the pain and the two weeks it can take for them to heal. We have prescription medications which provide instant relief to our grateful patients.
Partials and Dentures
We have always offered dentures to our patients in need of these services. We enjoy making them and we only use premium denture teeth and the best labs who make them for us. Patients can request real porcelain denture teeth for a little extra and this can make a significant difference in denture quality.
Digital X-rays
We have updated our entire office with new computers, software, panorex and the lowest exposure digital x-ray technologies. Our patients are pleased and impressed with the x-ray technology we use to care for them. X-rays allow us to provide all other services at Smith & Robison in Lexington, South Carolina.
